Week 2: A Garden Variety

This star shaped flower was also from the Blake Garden. Sometimes, when I am in gardens like this, I become so involved in beauty of the flowers and the excitement of what I am doing that I forget to take note of what type of flower it is. So as I grow in this project it is something that I will have to remind myself to do.

This past weekend my husband, son and I went to Blake Garden, hiding up in Kensington north of Berkeley. This is the first time that we have been out photographing flowers since Myles was born; of course it has been winter and the rainy season. Anyhow the weather was perfect for a day out in the garden!
